I know for a fact that you can party like a rockstar in the parking lot.  The cops are cool, security tight, tailgating is all the rage.  Not a problem meeting up in the parking lot.  The only cats who got in trouble were setting off fireworks.  Otherwise, driinking eating, and yes, all that illegal fun stuff was happening!  Take our word for it!
