Dear Philly Dandom:

Very sad to report that Tom "Doc" Boguski passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 27, 2020.  

Doc was especially known among long-time Steely Dan fans and Steely Dan Orchestra alums for his custom Steely Dan-themed Pennsylvania license plates such as "W BECKER," "D FAGEN," "CARLOCK," "STELY DAN," "J HRNGTN," "J BEARD," "SD ROG," "C LNHART," "CAT RUSL," etc.

Our condolences to Doc's loved ones and friends.  He will be missed.

Doc's brother writes with updated funeral services for Doc. Please come and show your support :

For those who asked, ***Update: Funeral services for Thomas "Doc" Boguski will be Friday, March 6, 2020 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd, Broomall PA 19008. Visitation at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Interment at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Rd, Springfield PA.
