So I was listening a bit to saron Crenshaw, jr mack and jerry dugger and they were all fantastic individually and they are ¾ of the house band after the concert (aja). I wonder about the logistics of getting there since I don’t know nyc at all. Sh0uld the subway be safe enough? How long would it take? Would u need advance tickets. What a way to top off the evening I think!

Hey Jeff - I know you said you're not much of a Jazz guy - but you might want to do a search on Scott Henderson. One of the finest Blues albums I've ever heard he did many years ago, and the theme was based around Dogs. Some the titles were hysterical, and the music was phenomenal.
Just a thought.
