Danfest alternatives

Greetings, all:
Jim, thanks for your input. Next time this comes up, I'll certainly try to
abide by what you have posted.
That said, seeing that there has been no other email traffic on a DC
Danfest/Dan meet-up/Dan "Smoke 'em if ya got 'em" convention, I went ahead
and took the initiative.
I'm not sure if you live in DC, Jim, but there isn't much else between the
venue I suggested and the DAR Hall. And the venue I have contacted (which
I've had no ties to until I walked in there for the first time today) seems
to host a lot of DAR pre-concert happenings.
There's nothing "formal" about this, just an option for those of us who
live in/near DC and are going to the Dan show.
If anyone has other ideas or options for the November DC concerts, I'm all
ears.
